The Century Hall – Fort Worth, Texas

The Century Hall located in the heart of historic Fort Worth Texas was is the scheduled location for Samantha’s upcoming wedding. The couple loved the charm and juxtaposition between open architectural style and vintage modern vibe of the building.  The one room open floor plan poses its own set of challenges in creating beautiful and elegant bridal portraiture. We focused on the textures and beautiful colors of the natural brick, worn painted walls, and hardwood wood floors.  The exposed conduit and duct work over the beautiful vintage tin ceilings was also something I wanted to exploit.  Samantha’s stunning green eyes were captivating and certainly added intrigue to our efforts.  Though Samantha has a fantastic smile, we often went with a sincere, more smokey, look to let her very rare eye color steal the show.  Shooting unique locations is always interesting and the challenges always results in a unique and artistic portfolio.
